“Ian Dooley (NativeMello Artistry) was able to travel to multiple locations while we worked together. We went from multiple locations in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Little Sahara desert. During the shoot, he strives to make the model comfortable and also involved in his work; not just to be another prop in a picture. He kept asking "What's a photo you want to recreate?" or "Is this okay with you?". He made sure that he was doing a good job both with his client and his work. He showed me shots he took throughout the shoot and deleted ones I was not okay with. Anytime that I felt just a bit uncomfortable he would either encourage me to embrace myself and relax or if I felt too uncomfortable to try something else.”

Ian really shows through his photography uniqueness and individuality not making one of your pictures the same as someone else's. He's not one to do the basic poses and places like everyone else but what interests you and goes with your personality. Ian is so amazing to work with before, during, and after your photo shoot. He also is unbelievably fast at getting your session back to you...like I had mine in less than a week! I fell in love with my pictures and can't wait for my next session with him knowing it will be a completely different aspect of my life and story.”

He was extremely professional, punctual, and warm. We met, grabbed a coffee, and talked once again about what he had planned and went over all the final details. I have VERY little experience in front of the camera, so I was definitely a bit nervous. He made me feel so at ease as we began the shoot. He posed me perfectly, gave me easy directions, and showed me the shots as we progressed. He has a ridiculous talent for finding the best light, and is extremely creative with angles, the surroundings of the room, etc. We had a good chunk of time carved out for the shoot, and he used his time perfectly and never rushed. He put on great music and made it feel like we were just two friends hanging out, talking, and enjoying the space! He not only has a real talent and passion for photography, but also a true knack for working with and directing people

“Working with Ian was very enjoyable and I hope to have the opportunity to do it again! He was very open to my ideas for the shoot and allowed my visions to come to life. The location he chose for my sister and I was phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. He will reach out to anyone or go anywhere to accommodate your needs and make your visions come alive. Ian incorporated images of my sister and me together but also distinguished the two of us so we could each have our own individual experience. I respect that he was certain to give each of us different images throughout the home and not in the same spot. If you bring someone along to shoot with him as well, he is very good at making sure you each have your own unique experience.”
